Beatrice Whelan



I'm a social media and content strategist and Global Content Manager for social media and events at Sage. I began my marketing career in 2005 in Google and from there became a website designer and blogger for six years before joining Sage in 2011. I have worked on social media for Sage for several high profile events including Sage Summit, Dreamforce and Web Summit. I was co-organiser of the Blog Awards Ireland in 2012 and 2013. I also serve on the board of the Irish Internet Association.

Along the way I have learned from the best about how to use social media for event promotion. Now my experience is packaged together in this new book on social media for events.
